Fishermen: For fish of a life time [every day] consider Agimac River Outfitters. I am a 70 year old who has fished from age 4- have fished on Lake Michigan since 1972 and caught 1000's of salmon and trout. Nothing compares to Indian lake and Agimac River Outfitters and the tremendous camp run by the Obergs. Have been blessed to fish Indian Lake for 20 years and each year the fishing gets better. This May our group of 11 caught and released more than 175 Walleyes greater than 25 inches. Lots of 5-6 pound small mouths and large pike as a bonus. There are also many lakes near the camp to trailer your boat to to catch large numbers of smaller fish. See the pictures of a few of the BIG ones. The largest to date we have caught was 33 1/2" and it weighed over 13 pounds. This year we caught fifteen to twenty 30-31 1/2 inchers. We left them all for next year. I've never been much of a fisherman. When I was at Agimac River Outfitters five years ago I would get out first thing in the morning and catch one maybe two walleye, 12 inches to 14 inches in size. Then I would go in and spend the rest of the day enjoying the natural beauty of the camp. I always felt a little guilty because I ate two to three times as much fish as I caught. I was finally able to come back to stay at Agimac River Outfitters this year and the changes have been amazing. I have been catching two to three times my limit each day which allows me to be choosy about which fish to keep. In addition, at mealtime I can eat all the fish I want and not feel one bit guilty. Also the new owners, John and Daryl Oberg, seem very friendly and are responsive to our needs. This place is a little piece of heaven. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

John and Daryl are great hosts. Our stay was very enjoyable and the fishing and camping were great. The camp is located in a central area where you can fish for different types of fish at nearby lakes.

Hello from Black River Falls, Wisconsin. I just thought I should tell you how much we enjoy coming to Agimac River Outfitters camp. A friend and I started coming to the camp when it first opened. I have been fishing Indian Lake for the past 25 plus years, staying at another camp and boating to Indian. We also stayed in the motels in Ignace and hauling the boats to and from little Indian lake. This got to be very tiresome to do. Like I said when Isobel and Harold opened the camp we started staying with them in the spring, mid summer and a fall trip. If the fishing wasn't as good as it is we would have went somewhere else. When John and Daryl Oberg bought the camp, as anyone would be we were very skeptical of how the camp would be. Well not only is it great, but John and Daryl are very gracious hosts. They have plans to improve the camp to included; Dog sledding, ice fishing and other winter sports. I along with other long time guests appreciate the hard work they are doing to improve the camp. I am recommending this camp to everyone that wants to have a great vacation in Canada. Hi Daryl and John,
We have been fishing in your area since 1973. This was the best year we ever had! We caught 924 fish....795 walleyes, 95 jacks, and 34 smalleys.  We seem to be able to catch them at most depths. However, because the water was only in the low to mid-60's, the 10-15' was the best. The biggest walleye was 8#, jack 17#, smallmouth 19".The docks are equipped with AC power and are real nice. The cabin we stayed in had 7 separate bedrooms and the hot showers are always great at the end of the day. We have been coming here since Harold and Isabel opened and will continue for many more years. Thanks for everything!

I just wanted to say thank you! We really enjoyed our time at Agimac River Outfitters. Definitely a place where memories are made. I appreciated the clean cabin! I slept better than I have slept in the past year. I think I need to relocate your rapids to our home so I can go to sleep with such a soothing sound. You have a beautiful place, and the sunsets were awesome. Attached are a couple of photos. Dan and I had a bass on each of our fishing poles at the same time (our double fun). Two brothers, Glen and Greg Klingberg, came to stay at our resort for the first time ever, and had some amazing fishing.
