Ignace, Ontario Fishing and Hunting Resort
We have eight large cabins and one smaller cabin. Our housekeeping cabins have full size kitchens with stove/oven, refrigerator, freezers for fish, dishes, pots, pans, silverware and cutlery. Each cabin has a three-piece bathroom with hot and cold running water. We also provide bottom sheets, pillows and pillowcases. You'll need to provide your own sleeping bags, dish towels, dish soap and scrub pads for kitchen, personal bath towels and washcloths. There are no quilts in the cabins now, so be sure to bring your own sleeping bags or blankets to keep warm. We do not allow electric cookers, coffeemakers, toasters, microwaves, hair blow dryers, or any devices with a heating element in the cabins because our electricity comes from a diesel generator which limits our electrical output. We do have percolating coffee pots available in all the cabins to be used on top of the stove, for those who drink coffee. If you want to bring a small fan to keep you cool during the hotter times of the summer season, that would be fine. Also, we have gasoline for motors for sale at the camp.
It is our policy that people camping are not allowed in or around the cabins. However, folks staying in cabins are welcome to visit friends who are camping.
NOTE 1: NO PETS ALLOWED AND NO SMOKING IN THE CABINS
NOTE 2: WE NOW HAVE A DEEP DRILLED WELL PROVIDING EXCELLENT, SAFE, HEALTH CANADA TESTED DRINKING WATER TO ALL CABINS
NOTE 3: If you do not have a passport or if it is not up to date, you can still cross the Canadian border with just a driver's license and a birth certificate. The U.S. will have to also let you back into the country with just a driver's license and birth certificate if you are a U.S. citizen. If you have any questions about that, please call us.

From opening fishing in May through the month of June, you must pay for a minimum of four people per cabin even if fewer come, with the exception of cabin 7 and cabins 1 through 7 the opening week of fishing, which require payment for a minimum of 2 people. This means that if you have four people in your party and one cancels at the last minute, the other three will have to pay for four people, regardless of the circumstances. Weekly rentals are required throughout the season, however we do allow groups with fewer than four people after June 30th.
Starting May 2024, our waterfront cabins 8 and 9 are required to have a minimum of 4 people or payment for four people from May through August.
To secure your reservation, an advance deposit of $350/cabin is required. There is NO refund on deposits. However, they are transferable by the person who made the deposit and his group, to available dates in the same calendar year. Reservations will be confirmed when a full deposit has been received. Full deposits must be received within two weeks of booking to confirm your trip.
Regular check-in time is 2:00 p.m., and check-out time 10:00 a.m. We do allow our guests to check in earlier than 2:00 p.m. if the cabin is clean and ready to go, but not before 10:00 a.m., unless they want to pay for another night.
Our week runs from Saturday to Saturday. You are welcome to come in on a Friday night if there are openings, however, there will be an extra night's charge of $54/person plus taxes.
Rates and conditions are subject to change without notice.
